Drogarati Cave

Drogarati Cave is a 150-million-year-old dry limestone cavern located 60 meters underground.

Found 300 years ago after an earthquake, this cave system is massive. It maintains a constant 18°C (64°F) and 90% humidity year-round. Drogarati is located just 3 kilometers from Melissani Cave, making it easy to visit both consecutively.

Tickets cost 6 EUR for adults. You can also purchase a combination ticket for both caves for 13 EUR. Do not touch the stalactites. Oils from human skin stop their calcification and growth, which is only 1 centimeter every 100 years.
